Front Desk/Customer Service Position

Fun-fast paced Rental Shop on Nantucket Island is seeking to add members to its Front Desk/Reservation team. Nantucket Bike Shop has been the island’s largest bicycle and scooter rental shop for over 40 years, with multiple island locations. We are urgently seeking staff members to work at the Front Desk, assisting customers, answering phone calls, completing rental contracts, processing payments, confirming rental reservations, giving directions/instructions and providing the highest quality customer service at one of our two island locations. Ideal candidates would be highly motivated individuals with great people skills and some prior customer service experience. NBS is open early Summer through Mid-October. Ideal candidates could work from now until Labor Day (Sept. 7th).
We are in need of a full-time staff member, with some part-time positions available for the right candidate.
Starting at $17 per hour, with potential wage increases based on performance and experience.
Please be aware that we have LIMITED employee housing on island for the right candidate.
