Nantucket Rentals is an online booking platform for vacation rental properties on Nantucket. We are seeking a part-time marketing associate to join our team to promote the Nantucket Rentals brand through direct engagement with the local community and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Wearing Nantucket Rentals branded clothing and walking around town during busy time periods, offering assistance to pedestrians and providing information about Nantucket Rentals.
Bringing Nantucket Rentals merchandise such as flags or beach tents to highly populated public beaches during busy times and promoting the Nantucket Rentals brand to beachgoers.
Assisting with the planning and execution of marketing events, such as sponsored beach cleanups or community events.
Distributing promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, and merchandise, at local businesses and events.
Assisting in creating social media content to promote Nantucket Rentals and engaging with followers on various platforms.
Assisting with data entry and updating our website content.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, with some college coursework in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable engaging with the public and representing the Nantucket Rentals brand in a positive manner.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.
Must have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
