This leadership position will expand, develop, implement, evaluate, and coordinate childcare programs for Nantucket-based children, including Extended Day and after-school enrichment classes. The coordinator will be the face of our children’s programming and will take part in teaching classes or leading activities with support staff.

During the summer months, the coordinator will supervise all aspects of the ACKventure and ACKventure Jr. Day Camp programs including application for state licensure, safety oversight, camp program, and camp counselor development and expansion; will document and handle processes to interview, hire, schedule, payroll, and camper enrollment paperwork (per licensure) and registrations. Additionally, this position will oversee and ensure camper/counselor ratios are maintained at all times. This position serves as the primary leader to address all questions, concerns, and suggestions offered by parents, campers, and camp counselors.
