The Nantucket TAP ROOM at the historic Jared Coffin House is hiring a SOUS CHEF and LINE COOK positions for the 2024 season AND YEAR ROUND!
We are looking for experienced full time kitchen staff the 2024 season and YEAR ROUND. We are looking for passionate and hard working people to join our back of house team.
LINE COOK: At least 2 years experience on Sauté and/or Grill station REQUIRED
SOUS CHEF: Kitchen management experience is a plus. At least 4 years experience on the line REQUIRED. The Sous Chef will be responsible for providing supportive leadership to kitchen staff throughout food service. Their duties include assisting the Head Chef in monitoring kitchen activities, expediting orders to ensure quality taste or presentation and taking on additional responsibilities in the Head Chef’s absence to ensure that kitchen staff have proper direction.
Applicants must be able to cook comfortably on a busy line, maintain station and kitchen cleanliness, communicate properly with the team, and most important of all, have fun while working!
Our pay is HIGHLY competitive and HOUSING IS AVAILABLE for qualified individuals.
